IMDA - Indiana Society for Post-Acute and Long-Term Care Medicine is a professional association of clinicians and providers practicing in the long term care continuum. IMDA is dedicated to excellence in patient care.

On this site, IMDA will post original materials along with links to existing resources, tools, articles and legislative information designed to advance our mission to improve patient care and promote the professional development of long term care practitioners. IMDA members are encouraged to submit non-commercial, long term care related items which they feel should be shared with our members.

Wilcox/Stropes Post-Acute and Long-Term Care Provider of the Year Award

IMDA is pleased to announce a new award for excellence in post-acute and long-term care. This award will be given in honor of Dr. David Wilcox and Dr. Linda Stropes, who were known for their leadership and dedication to their patients. Nominations for the award will be taken starting in January 2017, and the Provider of the Year honoree will receive paid registration to the next AMDA meeting. Indiana Innovations- Call for Submissions

Do you have an innovative project related to post-acute or long-term care medicine? IMDA recognizes that our members are currently revolutionizing the practice of post-acute and long term care medicine. These project are often only shared by word of mouth, and IMDA would like to change that by creating an Indiana Innovations space on our website. If you are currently or have previously performed a new formal or informal project that has benefited your practice, please share with us. This can include education projects, quality improvement projects, case reports, or research. You can also submit online HERE.
